Catching Up With: Crosby Freeman
Claremont, Calif. - Former Pomona-Pitzer Men's Cross Country runner Crosby Freeman '06 is running in the Olympic trials in the Marathon to try to qualify for the 2012 Summer Games in London.
Freeman earned the highest finish in Pomona-Pitzer Men's Cross Country history when he finished fifth at the 2004 Division III National Championships as a junior, to earn one of his three All-America honors with the Sagehens. He followed that up with an eighth-place finish as a senior in 2005, giving him two top-10 finishes.
After graduating from Pomona, he has since become an avid Marathon runner, finishing 30th in the 2009 Boston Marathon, which he documented for Trail Run Times here (http://www.trailruntimes.com/?p=286).
